Creating input fields

Input fields are created by changing the status of a property from "Prop." to "Field" and then selecting an input field type from the pop-up menu. The value of that property is now editable by the template's user through the newly created input field.

You can view, edit or delete all your input fields in the Input Fields view.

There are several different types of input fields, such as Text fields, Image fields, Number fields, and Selection fields. When you select an input field type for a property, only the types compatible with that property will be displayed in the pop-up menu.

For example, the Source property of an image object can only be connected to an Image field or an Image Selection field, as all other types of fields would return values that are not compatible with the Source property.
