Introduction
You can create a template in different formats, e.g. 1:1, 4:5 and 9:16. If you configure the project settings correctly, these will be displayed as format options when you select a template in Bluepic SOCIAL.
While templates in SOCIAL can have multiple formats, a project in STUDIO can only have one canvas size. Therefore, each format must correspond to an individual project.
The key to grouping multiple formats of a template is to give each project the same display name (note that the project name can be different).
Projects with identical template display names are grouped in Bluepic SOCIAL as format options.
Let's take a closer look at an example. We start with a project in 4:5 format and add a 9:16 format.
Step 1: Create a copy of an existing project
First, go to the template gallery and duplicate the already created project.
Step 2: Change the aspect ratio of the new project
Now you can open the copy of your original project and edit the canvas size in the project settings.
To get a 9:16 format, the height of the canvas must be changed to 1920 pixels.
Note the template display name and category highlighted in the screenshot above. These two parameters must be identical to the original project for SOCIAL to recognize the correlation and group the format options accordingly.
Step 3: Adjust objects & publish the new project
The last step will be to adjust all the objects to the new canvas size and to publish the new template.
Step 4: Attach the new project to a SOCIAL Space
Don't forget to attach this project to the same SOCIAL Space as the original one.
